In this episode, Scott explores generalization as opposed to specialization.  Consider his long standing position on being specialized, it’s a tough proposition to endorse.  Check it out.

There’s also some discussion of Spoofcard.  It’s a great tool but use it wisely and always be aware of your local laws.

    Scott,

This was an interesting podcast. On a side note, I’d like to hear more of your thoughts about the insurance claims market drying up. Why has this happened? Has it happened mainly in workers’ comp, or all insurance lines? Why is it so difficult now for a PI to make a living in this niche?

    Thanks much!

That’s not a bad idea. I’m not entirely sure what the reasons are but I won’t let that stop me from wildly speculating. Look for it in an upcoming episode.
