Episode 18-What the heck IS TSCM anyway?

Thank you for visiting the website. Don't forget to leave comments or visit the forum!

While at the annual conference of the California Association of Licensed Investigators (the largest PI association in the world), I sat down with CALI outgoing President Sean Walsh (of Walsh and Assoc.) and asked him about Identity theft, TSCM and being president of the largest association of private investigators in the world. This week, all about TSCM (not exactly ALL, but the basics).

Episode 17-On the Road again!

Last week I was heading down to San Diego for the California Association of Licensed Investigators annual conference.  I took some time out on the Iriver to go over a few items of note, so check it out. (I’m vamping here because it’s been such a busy week I don’t actually remember what it was I talked about).

Episode 16 – Crazy hours, less money…don’t ya just love it!

A recent overnight case got me thinking about the choices we make when scheduling our cases. Often, we let the client dictate our professional decisions and it should be the other way around. Doing what the client wants isn’t always in their best interest.

Check out my rambling on the topic.

Behind the curtain-A quick update

What do podcasters talk about when they get together?  I found out last night and thought a quick update on what us audio wizards do backstage might be interesting.

Jason, the genius behind Geekfit.com and everythingtech.tv (and the guy that saves me whenever I hose my website) took a trip to the Orange County Podcasters meetup in Irvine last night.  I thought it would be nice to mention some of the people we met and link to their podcasts.  Here they are, in order of appearance:
Craig Patchett is the organizer for the OC Podcasters Meetup (as well as the San Diego one too).

  • GodCast Network – Craig is the founder of the GodCast Network one of the first podcast networks.
  • Behind The Scenes Podcast – Which is an inside look on how a podcast is made. He interviews various podcasters and gets an inside look on how their podcast is made.

Leah and Josh of HoshNasi Productions, they run 2 podcasts:

  • Completely Biased – Is a podcast about advice in romance, relationships, manners and they talk about their favorite wine. They did an interview with the people involved in the Stolen Sidekick II that made its rounds online.
  • YouBetYourNuts – This podcast is about Texas hold’em, the site wa down as of this writing.

Brian Mundy – is the president of DIMA (Digital Imaging Marketing Association). He’s a great guy to talk to and his show is very informative.

  • DIMAcast – Is an Digital Imaging industry podcast. The format is solid and he has a number of top notch interviews one of them being Riya.com which is sort of like Flickr.com but with facial recognition.

And here’s a photo of one corner of the party.

Episode 15-Tailing tidbits and some listener feedback

Personal commitments have kept me away for a few weeks but I’m trying to get caught up on work and get back into the podcasting ‘zone’ so stick with me here. In this episode, I talk a bit about the fine art and voodo science of vehicular tailing. It’s general information, but important. I also read some listener email and feedback. It’s good stuff and I love it! Thanks everyone for both your ideas and your support.
